 The Convenience

Have a cellar full of wine for every occasion and food pairing right at your fingertips.  No more last minute trips to the store!

Okay, so now you know why you should make wine, but how do you do it?

How it’s done: 5 easy steps to making your wine

  1.  Visit us in shop!
  2. Our team will help you choose the wine kit that’s right for you.
  3. Start your wine by sprinkling the yeast into the juice to start the fermentation. Our skilled retailers will handle the rest of the winemaking process.
  4. Come back and bottle your wine when it is ready – about 4 to 6 weeks later. You’ll have about 28-30 bottles of wine which can be personalized with custom labels and decorative shrink caps.
  5. Enjoy a glass of wine from your own wine rack, not the wine store.

If you are looking for a more hands-on experience you can also make your own wine at home.  You don’t need a lot of space and our kits include easy to follow instructions. We can help you select the equipment you need and help get your started.

 Wine Storage Tips

Here are some wine storage tips to ensure top quality wine:

Do:

  • Store your wine upright for the first 3 to 5 days.
  • After that, if storage is at a minimum, please do leave your wine upright in the box as we use synthetic corks that do not require staying in contact with the wine.
  • But hey, do store your wine on its side, cause wine looks so darn good in a wine rack.
  • Store your wine in a cool, dark place.
  • Your wine should be stored where the temperature is CONSISTENT… Bright light, movement, and temperature fluctuations can negatively affect the quality of your wine.

Do Not:

  • Do not constantly turn your wine. Red wines will sometimes dust (leave residue on the inside of the bottle). This is normal. Simply decant your wine.
  • Do not store your wine directly on a cement floor. Put a thick piece of wood under your wine storage boxes.
  • Do not store your wine on heated floors.
